Before submitting your material to our site, please review the following guidelines.
•Historical Lens is looking for unique and vintage Photographs, Post Cards and Letters. More specifically, items that reference a point/event in history, a unique location, popular culture references, contextual material for s specific time period, associations with notable people in history, etc... In general, we will not take Portraiture type of photos.
•You must own or have rights to the original materials.
•We will not review unsolicited material. Please email HistoricalLens@gmail.com describing your item and what you are hoping to learn about it BEFORE you email your documents.
•A Submission Release Form will be emailed to you. After it has been received and reviewed, we will contact you regarding submitting your Photograph, Post Card or Letter.
•We will not be responsible for any original materials. Please do not mail them to us. We will only accept Digital Scans.
•When applicable, we will note your material as "Used with Permission" or, at your request, place a Watermark on the photo so it can not be reproduced electronically.
•All written content about your item, as a result of your submission, will be the sole property of Historical Lens.
